Burnley Holiday Club

Our setting

We're located in the centre of Padiham (next to LIDL and Tesco's). We are a responsible holiday club providing holiday care for over 24 years.  We provide a range of activities for your kids from only £25 per day (mid day session 9am to 4pm) ALL INCLUSIVE.    We have out own cook and you can check the menu HERE We take the children to numerous places of interest in our mini bus, including museums throughout Lancashire and Yorkshire.  The children really enjoy exploring in large groups and they thoroughly enjoy all the trips. 

Summer week 1 (commencing 21st July 2025)  Science Week.   Activities include:   Make a lava lamp, volcano creations, bath bombs, fizzy moon project, crystal rainbow, baking soda rockets, create kinetic sand, magic milk, salt painting and magic skittles.   The mini bus will be going on trips to the science museum, including other museums in Bolton and Yorkshire.   

Summer week 2 (commencing 28th July 2025) Bake off!  Activities include:  creating smoothies, milk shakes, fruit skewers, rocks roads, water melon pizzas, rice crispy cakes, pizza creations, biscuits, apply donuts, ice cream etc.    Once again we will be visiting new museums and places of interest to keep the children entertained every day.

Summer week 3 (commencing 4th August 2025) Animal Magic. Activities:   paper plate giraffes, salt dough snakes, tissue paper butterflies, animal silhouette, African paper plates, sloth designs, animal masks, animal bookmarks etc.  There will also be daily trips to places of interest

The holiday club rooms

Our site has 5 rooms dedicated to our holiday club which includes a movie room, arts & crafts room, games room (includes four xbox one's),  large play room & two large rooms on the middle floor covering a total area of over 3,000 square feet.  Our large expansive outside area also provides a fun and secure environment for the children.   
We have refurbished our holiday club in 2023/24 and also invested in many new resources to keep the children entertained.

Experienced team with confidence

Our qualified holiday club team have over 80 years combined experience of working in childcare.  We have a dedicated team of 9 staff working in the club (we also have 22 staff, including our qualified nursery team which work on a different floor, which also has a separate entrance.  We do not mix the nursery aged children with the holiday club.
All our staff receive up-to-date training including the mandatory courses for all the team which are: first aid training, safeguarding, behaviour and ACE's. 

Our team also access regular additional training with both our online training provider and our in house training provider.   Our dedicated mature experienced team consists of degree qualified staff and level 3 Early Years Practitioners as of June 2025.
